Losing without tears

Murali - the chaiwallah outside our office - was in a cheerful mood one day (this was a month back). I asked him the reason. He said he was on TV that morning. On TV? Yes, he said. He had deposited money in a finance co, which had folded up. He was in the crowd outside the finance co office when the TV crew 'interviewed' him.
I wondered how he could smile when he has lost money. I asked him how much he had 'invested'. Less than Rs 10,000 or more? He said: Rs 1.5 lakh.
