We were watching Omen. When Damien sees a Cross at a Church, he gets scared and becomes violent. My daughter wondered whether there were no pictures of the Cross or Jesus in Damien's house. He never came across one in five years? I had no answer. Is this a slip by the director?

My collegue is in the process of converting to S(u)ifism from Hindu-ism. It's no surprise, as she has some 'broken' experience in Sufi whirling meditation.

I knew her parents, but she was at first hesitant to talk to me, and also refused to reveal her name. But I managed to get her name from her friends.But my persistance paid off. We had a good time chatting and while parting, she asked whether I would come tomorrow.She is Pavithra, and is eagerly expecting her LKG results. Her parents - owners of the tea shop near the petrol bunk - have a tough time with her. She takes liberties with her father's friends who visit the shop, including offering a few friendly slaps.
